Update on the V-Access 966…I took this rod out last weekend with my son to give it a try on snook and it was incredible! It’s fast and that extra 6 inches goes a long way in achieving increased casting distance. Because its fast, I loaded it with a WF7 line which performed well, even in a stiff wind. We were hoping to land a couple winter tarpon in the 10-15# range, but they were being finicky. The snook were a blast especially with a click & pawl reel.
